GAC Trumpchi E8 Hybrid export overview
The GAC Trumpchi E8 hybrid is a 4,920 mm midsize MPV that combines a 2.0L engine (103 kW) with a 134 kW electric motor and GAC's 2-speed DHT hybrid transmission. It does not need to be plugged in, and Autohome lists WLTC consumption of 5.58 L/100 km.
It sits between the compact M6 and the large M8 in size, with seven seats in a 2-2-3 layout and second-row zero-gravity seats, plus a 14.6-inch screen running the ADiGO Space system. For fleet buyers it offers hybrid fuel savings without the charging requirement of a plug-in — useful for shuttle operators in markets where charging is scarce. One trim is currently on sale in China, the 2024 Glory Edition at ¥179,800.
